What is WhatsApp Web?

- Open Safari on your iPad and navigate to web.whatsapp.com
- Open WhatsApp on your iPhone.
- Tap Settings in the lower right corner.
- Tap the Link a Device button to select Linked Devices.

- Click on Settings Linked Devices to link a device in WhatsApp
- Face ID, Touch ID or Password are all options for authentication.
- Your primary device now opens the Scan QR Code Page.

What are the limitations to using WhatsApp Web?
WhatsApp Web is not the same as the WhatsApp native app for iOS or Android. Below are the limitations that come with using WhatsApp Web.
- WhatsApp Web does not notify you of any new messages.

- WhatsApp Web does not allow you to make or receive video or voice calls.
